
Why is it called Hotel delle
Tele?
“Tela” means Canvas in Italian. Literally “Hotel
of the Canvases”. Each room is adorned with a particular Renaissance
painting.
Is the hotel close to the
main monuments?
Yes. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of Florence close to Il
Duomo and the main train station. Both are a five minute walk from
the hotel.
What is the rating of the
hotel?
It is a 3 star hotel.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 2:00 pm onwards.
And when do guests have to
check-out?
Before 12:00 am.
Is the price per room or per
person?
The price is per room.
Does the hotel have a garage?
There isn’t a garage but we have a special arrangement with
a local garage.
Do you accept credit card?
Yes. We accept American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Maestro
and CartaSi.
Is air conditioned provided
in the hotel?
The whole complex is air conditioned and every room has air conditioning.
Is there Satellite TV in all
of the rooms?
Yes, including a choice of international channels on satellite TV.
Are the rooms equipped with
telephone?
Yes, including direct dialling.
Which foreign languages are
spoken in the hotel?
English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Is there Internet Access available
in the hotel?
No, unfortunately not.
Is there a swimming pool?
Not, on the property but there is one nearby. Ask at reception for
details.
Is it possible to rent a car?
Yes, we’ll be happy to arrange it on your behalf. You can
also hire bicycles.
Is there a bar?
Yes, there is.
Is there a restaurant?
No but we have a special arrangement with a local restaurant.
When does the reception open
and close?
It is open 24 hours a day.
How many floors are there?
There are two floors.
When is the latest we can
cancel our reservation without being charged?
You can cancel up to one day before. If cancelled later, or no appearance
is made, the first night will be charged.
Are baby cots available?
No, unfortunately not. Guests should make provisions.
Are there any no-smoking rooms?
Yes, there are.
Is breakfast included in the
price?
Breakfast is provided at an extra surcharge.
Can we settle the bill when
we arrive?
