How to reach us

The Hotel delle Tele is very close to Santa Maria Novella making it perfect for visitors to Florence who are travelling by train. On arriving at Santa Maria Novella make your way south to the front of the station at Piazza della Stazione. The hotel lies on Via Panzani, which runs from Piazza dell’Unità Italiana. Piazza dell’Unità Italiana is adjacent to Basilica di Santa Maria Novella which faces Piazza della Stazione. The hotel is a very short walk from the station. Use the map above to guide you.

Florence has two airports at its service : Amerigo Vespucci which is 5km north-west of the city; and Galileo Galilei near Pisa - roughly an hour by car or train from Florence. Buses run frequently from Amerigo Vespucci to Santa Maria Novella. The trip lasts 15 minutes and requires a normal city bus ticket. Other more expensive bus services are also available. Regular trains leave from Galileo Galilei airport to Santa Maria Novella.

The SITA Bus station on Via Santa Caterina da Siena 15 is west of Piazza della Stazione where rapid bus services run to Poggibonsi, San Gimignano, Colle di Val d’Elsa, Volterra, Arezzo, Chianti, Grosseto and other smaller towns throughout Tuscany.

Taxis are available outside Stazione Santa Maria Novella and several other ranks around town.
